I just finished watching Louie Giglio’s awesome sermon at the Desiring God 2011 National Conference. One of the most fascinating parts of this sermon is when he plays sounds from pulsars far away in our universe. One of them sounded like a symphony playing a song to the Creator. He then combines various sounds from all of creation to put on a symphony of praise. Together, with hundreds of men, they pour out praise to God with pulsars, whales, and sing Chris Tomlin’s hymn “How Great is Our God.” Sitting here in my office at the church building I found myself with hands lifted and tears streaming from my eyes.
What an awesome God who has commissioned us to spread the gospel to every people group, beginning with our own. On his authority we go into the world and through his power God is saving the world!
