I had earlier posted on an Iranian pastor who is to be executed for his faith in Jesus Christ. Now, to avoid the implications of religious persecution, Iran has decided to say that Youcef Nadarkhani will be put to death for rape and extortion, CNN reports. It would appear that these new accusations are the justification for the murder of a Christian. By distracting or attempting to distract the world from the real reason that Nadarkhani will be executed, Iran hopes to portray itself as a modern, moral state where freedom exists. Don’t be fooled. Iran has a track record of dishonest, underhanded methods. May God free this man and get glory from it!
